As a Regional Manager DSD Branch, you are responsible for the general management of Branch/Distribution Services operations, including managing the overall operational cost and for achieving the performance objectives of the branch/distribution services group.


  • Responsible for the development and execution of an annual field distribution services business plan and budget.
  • Develops and maintains a strong working relationship with the Vice President of Sales, Channel Directors, and Channel Team Leaders.
  • Provides continuous improvement of distribution services processes to reduce error rate and increase productivity.
  • Responsible for the design of effective delivery routes and schedules that meet the customer requirements. 
  • Responsible for implementation and maintenance of designed delivery routes and schedules. 
  • Responsible for coordination of material movement to the branches under your responsibility and on-time delivery to our customers. 
  • Ensures that all employees are following OSHA and internal safety standards. 
  • Determines distribution services staffing needs.
  • Develops assigned employees to achieve expected level of quality and service, including the completion of annual performance reviews. 
  • Responsible for management of the distribution services' fixed assets.
  • Collaborates with VP Logistics & Warehousing, Director of Purchasing, and Inventory Management team to maintain appropriate distribution inventory.
  • Responsible for training and developing of the branch personnel under your responsibility.
  • Adheres to food-safety best practices and all related FSMA and FDA regulations.
  • Develops forecasts, financial objectives and business plans. 
  • Meets goals and addresses metrics driven gaps. 
  • Manages general administration budget and allocates funds appropriately.
  • Brings out the best of branch's personnel by creating high performance teams and by providing training, coaching, development, and motivation.
  • Committed to continuous improvement; proposes corrective actions that meet challenges and leverages growth opportunities. 
  • Shares knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs. 
  • Addresses customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 10 + years of related experience. 
  • Masters' Degree preferred. 
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communications. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge with Finance, Pricing, and Analysis. 
  • Coffee Experience a plus.
  • Project Management a plus. 
  • Proficiency in computer skills including, but not limited to: Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Outlook, Power-Point, Excel), current business software, and Internet research.
