    The purpose of this position is to provide accurate and timely financial statement reporting. This position will be responsible for all aspects of accounting including financial statement reporting, ad hoc reporting and analysis, management reporting, liaison with audit firms and management of the accounting staff. Other responsibilities include daily cash

    management and fixed asset accounting.


    • Maintain general ledger integrity and comply with GAAP.
    • Manage all day-to-day accounting operations, preparing the month- end, quarterly and year end close.
    • Manage balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow.
    • Direct and review financial reporting and processes to ensure complete, consistent and accurate accounting and reporting of financial activity, including general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
    • Supervise and/or prepare monthly journal entries.
    • Provide monthly, quarterly, and year end analyses as needed.
    • Assist with process improvement and project development oversight.
    • Implement and monitor internal controls.
    • Assist with annual budgeting and financial reporting.
    • Analyze, consolidate and interpret financial data, prepare detailed reports, variance analyses and presentations for all levels of management.
    • Serve as liaison for external auditors.
    • Directly supervise, mentor, and train accounts payable and general accounting.
    • Work closely with all areas of the company to enhance reporting of key business drivers.
    • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.


    • 12+ years of experience in accounting, with 5+ years of experience as Manager / Assistant Controller.

    • Accounting Degree.

    • Knowledge of MS Office, Excel and JD Edwards Oracle preferred.

    • Self-starter that is resourceful and can work autonomously.

    • Team oriented / Detail oriented.

    • Problem solver who takes ownership of their work.

    • Manages problems effectively, and takes actions to prevent the same problem from recurring.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Able to deliver excellent customer service at all levels, externally and internally.
    • Demonstrated ability for follow-up, time management, multitasking skills.
