    Farmer Brothers has and exciting opportunity for an Equipment Service Manager.  Manages productivity of field service tech(s) and is responsible for customer satisfaction standards for the region(s) managed. Provides weekly and/or monthly reports on service tech(s) productivity and holds employees accountable for desired results. Manages P/L for expenses, reconciliations of fixed asset inventory, revenue billings, internal G/L cost transaction and formal reporting monthly. Establishes par inventory levels for parts and equipment to support the region's customer locations. Controls inventory by replenishment guidelines and changing demographics by dispenser type in the field.


    • Hire, develop, and motivate a competent service staff.
    • Schedule technical equipment and training for all newest ESTs and provide technical support and training to all branch personnel.
    • Provide training and support on equipment and programs to help promote sales.
    • Manage, develop, and lead service staff to facilitate an environment where employees are empowered and willing to initiate process improvements within the Service Department.
    • Manage equipment and part inventories to maximize region profits.
    • Ensure all JDE equipment transactions are completed.
    • Ensures that the organization follows all guidelines and policies regarding equipment inspections, reports, safety committee, DOT violations, and vehicle safety. The ESM is also responsible for ensuring that all employees are trained,and comply, with Farmer Brothers Co. standards as well as all Human Resource regulations.
    • Manages productivity of 3rd Party Service providers and is responsible for customer satisfaction standards for the region managed. Responsible for holding Service providers accountable for desired results.
    • Must follow all company safety mandates and policies.
    • This position requires travel (30% ‐ 50%) to various branches within southern. Some overnight travel may be required.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
    • Must have 5‐7 years working experience in a related field.
    • Previous supervisory experience and/or demonstrated leadership skills.
    • Electrical and plumbing experience preferred.
    • Ability to lift 75 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally.
    • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain DOT certification.
    • Ability to use computer terminal for basic inquiries and updating inventory levels.
    • Experience with JDE a plus.
    • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment.
