    Farmer Brothers has an exciting opportunity for a National Accounts Specialist.  The NAS is responsible for supporting the National Account Management team in executing and
    monitoring plans/programs with assigned customers. This individual maintains business relationships with existing clients to meet sales objectives. The NAS is also responsible for new customer implementation.



    • Analyze reports and make recommendations to NAMs to help maximize the profitability and growth of existing accounts.
    • Coordinate with Finance, Purchasing, and Scheduling teams to manage purchasing and production to forecasts.
    •  Manage and execute internal processes to on‐board new accounts.
    • Provide direction to R & D for new products, participate in cuppings, tastings, approve for NAM review.
    • Travel to trade shows, supplier/vendor meetings, and store openings, when applicable.
    • Coordinate and facilitate customer trainings and education.
    • Conduct customer trainings related to Specialty Coffee or custom programs.
    • Facilitate and drive meeting agendas on select accounts.
    • Review / order / approve receiving of components such as film, labels, and POS.
    • Compile reports on sales, inventory, KPI’s and communicate key findings and recommendations to customers.
    • Submit/Approve check requests for customers and vendors.
    • Troubleshoot for AR team for collection on aging invoices.
    • Manage accrual accounts and usage of funds for various customers marketing materials and promotions.
    • Investigate overages shortages and damages on deliveries to customers, recommend appropriate resolutions/fixes.
    • Initiate and approve opening of accounts for new customers and/or new locations.
    • Work cross‐functionally with departments and externally to set up new programs in our system for new accounts in the implementation process.
    • Additional duties based on specific accounts may include.
    • Work with Finance to develop forecasts and sales reports.
    • Design and manage coffee programs for Strategic Accounts.
    • Verify and Approve equipment orders up to $10,000.00.
    • Identify and Distribute sales leads to the field.
    • Coordinate extensively with field sales team.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    • 2 – 3 years of customer service and project management.
    • Experience interacting with national or key accounts preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or Finance preferred.
    • Demonstrated written and verbal communications.
    • Proficiency in computer skills including, but not limited to: Microsoft Office (ie. Word,PowerPoint, Excel), as well as internet research.
