    Raw Materials Coordinator who manages all areas of materials (packaging OR green coffee and tea raw materials) requisition, delivery, and inventory to include vendor contract and follow-up.  This person strives to insure customer satisfaction through timely planning and control.  This individual maintains all records and reports as required to comply with Safe Quality Food Code 2000 (SQF 2000).


    • Works directly with coffee and/or tea Vendors and Corporate Green Coffee or Buyer/ Planning Deparment on ordering packagin or green coffee and tea raw maters and order status. 
    • Manage seasonal demands to insure adequate quantities are available to meet production requirement. 
    • Manage deliveries of raw materials with carriers and warehouse, Scale System and JDE; maintain necessary documentation and reporting for all deliveries. 
    • Coordinate unload schedule for receiving and limper service ensuring product availability and reduced detention charges.  Maintain accurate yard inventory and notifications to carriers of equipement status.
    • Notify vendors of any infested loads, coordinate with fumigator.  Maintain log of all loads fumigated for AIB or other inspection agencies.
    • Provide necessary documentation and reporting to vendors, Green Coffee Department for all receipts to ensure proper invoicing. 
    • Manage all aspects of inventory comtrol of packagin or Green Coffee and tea raw materials.  Validate and/or update inventory trasactions fro raw materials in Dbases and JDE.  Create and generate work order completions.
    • Maintain all inventory and records to comply with traceability requirements.  
    • Ensure all VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) teas are sampled for QC approval; Track QC approved lots of VMI teas in warehouse. 
    • Verify invoices for any charges which are not covered under VMI terms.
    • Liaison with Materials Manager on material requirements for changes in requirements. 
    • Track and report on KPI's and maintain historical usage reports necessary for order processing and inventory availability. 
    • Attends all pertinent meetings to facilitate proper planning and good communication with production planning and operations personnel to enhance customer service.
    • Responsible for maintaing Raw Material Register. 
    • Member pariticpation in HACCP team. 
    • Complies with Safe Quality Food 2000 Code (SQF 2000 Code)
    • Other dutes as assisigned. 


    • BA / BS Preferably in (Management or Logistics).
    • Minimum 5 years in Logistics Experience.
    • JDE experience a plus.
    • Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement.
    • Computer Skills;  (MS Office - Outlook, Excel, PP, Word, and Outlook).
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
