    Farmer Brothers has an excellent opportunity for an Executive Assistant to perform administrative support to the CEO and CFO as the key point of contact and support for the local headquarter office.  This person demonstrates an understanding of the business service area, clients, key terms, and service offerings.  This position will handle sensitive information with professionalism and integrity while communicating openly, often among team members, and continually striving to promote smooth workflow and ensure client needs are met.  Manage and support all internal office events and provide arrangements for executive level meetings both onsite and offsite.  Require the ability to exercise independent judgment, discretion and employ basic reasoning skills.


    • Provide administrative support for multiple senior executives; including calendaring, scheduling national travel, conference calls and interviews

    • Maintain schedule of appointments for senior executives and/or board members

    • Lead the coordination of investor conferences and company board meetings

    • Creates and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures, measuring results against standards, and making necessary adjustments

    • Acts with integrity to perform "gatekeeper" role, creating win-win situations for direct access to the C-level time, while maintaining and driving business priorities

    • Prepare technical and confidential reports by gathering and summarizing data

    • Summarize and prioritize issues and present solutions for senior management action

    • Mentor other administrative peers around centralized process for scheduling events, meetings and conference rooms

    • Manage catering budget and plan for meetings and other onsite events

    • Maintains office efficiencies by organizing office operations and procedures and monitoring clerical functions

    • Participate as needed in special internal and customer facing projects

    • Coordinate all reporting and other deadlines with groups to assure compliance

    • Organize and maintain share drives to assure efficiency and coordination of data

    • Manage correspondence, complaints and queries

    • Prepare letters, presentations and reports

    • May perform other duties as assigned


    • Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree preferred, High school diploma or GED required

    • 7+ years related executive administrative experience supporting a combination of C-level and board level leadership

    • 5+ years of operating Windows and Microsoft Office/365 applications, including: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.

    • 2+ years of experience related to process improvement, center of excellence, or centralized best practices strongly preferred

    • Critical thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions

    • Exceptional organizational skills, business written and verbal communication skills required

    • Polished interpersonal skills and positive, professional, articulate and friendly required

    • Experience with travel and scheduling applications required

    • JD Edwards experience a plus

    • Team oriented problem solver who takes ownership of their work

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, while handling frequent interruptions

    • Attention to detail necessary to ensure quality work

    • Ability to read, understand and retain working knowledge of procedures and company documents

    • Ability to format and produce high quality and error free documents in response to requirements

    • Self-motivated individual
