    Farmer Brothers has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Business Systems Analyst plays a key role in providing application analysis and support to business users across a wide range of business processes. The focus will be on a wide range of areas of IT systems and processes. The Sr. Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for working with the business to define the best practices and underlying requirements and then working cross-functionally across the organization to ensure successful implementation and adoption.


    • Act as a key resource in cross-functional projects, to develop and implement new applications and new processes.

    • Analyze user requirements, prepare requirements document, current state and future state processes and identify gaps.

    • Design processes to meet requirements, prepare functional specifications.

    • Work with the business users and technical team to ensure proper hand offs occur.

    • Become an expert on the assigned problem and drive it to resolution across all aspects of the company.

    • Ensure delivered IT solutions meet or exceed customer's expectations.

    • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of ERP application issues.

    • Assist with documenting ERP applications, data integration, and support procedures.

    • Write requirements document, functional specifications and prepare business process flows.

    • Identify and implement process improvements.

    • Oversee and manage cross company communication and issues as needed.

    • Perform other duties as required.


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, MIS or relevant consulting experience
    • 7+ years professional experience developing and configuring enterprise ERP systems
    • 5+ years of hands-on development with JD Edwards Enterprise One.
    • 5+ years of experience with one of the following; Java, C++/C#, .NET, WPF, or SharePoint.
    • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience to interpret technical specifications.
    • Familiar with Software Lifecycle Management (SDLC), Change Management, and agile methodology.
    • Experience with identifying and implementing process improvements.
    • Experience with reporting tools, creating ad-hoc reports, and writing SQL queries.
    • Preferred experience includes:
    - Manufacturing, CPG, Food Service Industry
    - .Net development
    - Migrating to Cloud
