    The Sr. Financial Analyst will analyze and model all aspects of the business including volume growth, profitability, return on investments, efficiency by location, by category, by sales person, and by supplier to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.  The position will create, maintain and distribute operating reports and key business metrics. This position will also measure returns on invested capital and make recommendations to optimize operating costs. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing and improving our data warehouse and executive dashboards.  This role will be involved with annual planning, forecasting and M&A activity.  Timely delivery of reports, identifying trends and making recommendations, and creation of accurate forecasts and budgets.  Ad-hoc financial modeling, reporting and analysis as necessary.


    • Prepare the monthly management review which includes detailed analysis of results vs. Plan & Previous Year, retention analysis for key products, monthly & quarterly forecasts and other pertinent graphs and reports.
    • Partner with department leader to develop annual operating budgets and periodic forecasts, expense projections, and capital projects.
    • Work with other departments to track AOP – Annual Operating Plan Initiative's.
    • Create and maintain weekly reporting on net sales, volume and gross profit in addition to other key initiative reports.
    • Prepare/analyze profit and loss & contribution margin statements by customer, route, district and region.
    • Analyze head-count and other financial metric reports.
    • Prepare monthly financial statements and management reviews including trends at the product category and segment levels.
    • Create ad-hoc reports and analysis based on requests from Executive Leadership and Director of Finance.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.


    • MBA required.  Bachelor’s degree required with strong emphasis in Finance, Mathematics or Economics
    • Strongly prefer candidates from top 25 Business Colleges.
    • Previous or Current Big 4 experience strongly preferred.
    • 7 years of professional FP&A experience.
    • 3+ years recent enterprise wide Financial Modeling expertise in related function or industry.
    • Critical thinking, excellent problem solving skills and advanced financial modeling capabilities.
    • Ability to manipulate and combine large amounts of data across disparate systems and draw meaningful and revealing conclusions in an efficient manner.
    • Experience working with large data sets and can manipulate and cleanse data to create meaningful output.
    • Advanced experience operating Microsoft Office applications, including: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.SQL programming experience a plus.
