     Farmer Brothers has a great opportunity for an Equipment Services Manager This person has responsibility for Field Service Technicians and the customer satisfaction standards in assigned regions. Provides weekly and/or monthly reports on service technicians productivity and is responsible for reaching set goals. Manages P/L for expenses, reconciliations of fixed asset inventory, revenue billings, internal G/L cost transaction and formal reporting monthly.


    • Establish par inventory levels for parts and equipment to support the region's customer locations.
    • Control inventory by replenishment guidelines and changing demographics by dispenser type in the field.
    • Hire, develop, and motivate service staff employees.
    • Schedule technical equipment training for all new FSTs and provide technical support and training to all branch personnel as needed.
    • Provide training and support on equipment and programs to help promote sales.
    • Manage, develop, and lead service staff to facilitate an environment where employees are empowered and willing to initiate process improvements within the Service Department.
    • Manage equipment and part inventories to maximize region profits.
    • Ensure all JDE equipment transactions are completed.
    • Ensure that the organization follows all guidelines and policies regarding equipment inspections, reports, safety committee, DOT violations, and vehicle safety.
    • Ensure that all employees are trained, and comply, with Farmer Brothers Co. standards as well as all Human Resource regulations.
    • Manages productivity of 3rd Party Service providers and is responsible for customer satisfaction standards for the region managed. Responsible for holding Service providers accountable for desired results.
    • Must follow all company safety mandates and policies.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Open to candidate living in Chicago, IL or Detroit, MI area


    • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
    • Must have 5+ years working experience in related field.
    • Previous supervisory experience and/or demonstrated leadership skills.
    • Electrical and plumbing experience preferred.
    • Ability to lift 75 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. occasionally.
    • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain DOT certification.
    • Ability to use computer terminal for basic inquiries and updating inventory levels.
    • Experience with JDE a plus.
    • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
