    Farmer Brothers has an exciting opportunity for a contract Recruiter-Supply Chain to join the team in attracting and recruiting prospective driver, warehouse, distribution and manufacturing candidates while building our employer brand. This position plays a critical part in ensuring that the most qualified talent is hired in order to continue delivering business targets.  In addition to continuously developing a strong applicant pool, the scope of this role's responsibility also includes interviewing, evaluating and qualifying high volumes of new and experienced candidates outlined as part of the HR and staffing process.  

    Responsibilities

    • Sources and identifies candidates from social media, job boards and other creative sources.
    • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
    • Conduct initial phone interviews and pre-qualify candidates who meet basic requirements.
    • Manages the interview and offer process.
    • Manage hiring manager relationships with assigned areas to understand critical business needs.
    • Use Applicant Tracking system to document daily activity.
    • Communicate with leadership to escalate concerns and roadblocks to delivery success.  
    • Understand the competitive landscape in local markets to develop recommendations to attract talent.
    • Ability to multi-task, articulate, persuade and influence others. 

    Qualifications

    • 4+ years of previous high-volume recruiting experience. (30-40 reqs)
    • Familiarity with food-service, manufacturing, operations or supply chain industry is preferred.
    • Capable of working in a deadline-driven environment with a focus on delivering results.
    • Comfortable initiating and/or responding to high volume of calls daily.
    • Ability to effectively work independently and utilize time efficiently.
    • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
    • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to support domestic time zones.
    • Positive attitude, outgoing, energetic, reliable.
