  • Overview

    use in the development of strategic business planning, annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, new and existing product profitability analysis and ad hoc reporting. Prepares and reviews a variety of complex financial data and assists in maintaining and updating company financial models and forecasts.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare the monthly management review which includes detailed analysis of results vs Plan & Last Year, retention analysis for key products, monthly & quarterly forecasts, and other pertinent graphs and reports.
    • Partner with department heads to develop annual operating budgets and periodic forecasts, expense projections and capital projects.
    • Work with other departments to track AOP – Annual Operating Plan Initiatives.
    • Create and maintain weekly reporting on net sales, volume and gross profit in addition to other key initiative reports.
    • Prepare / analyze profit and loss & contribution margin statements by customer, route, district, and region.
    • Analyze head-count and other financial metric reports
    • Prepare monthly financial statements and management reviews including trends at the product category and segment levels.
    • Create ad-hoc reports and analysis based on requests from Sr. Management and Director of Finance.
    • May perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
    • 3+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
    • 5+ years operating Windows and associated Microsoft Office applications, including: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
    • Ability to make decisions based on logic, factual information, resources and constraints, and in congruence with organizational values.
    • Able to take broad thinking around business issues and apply to company strategies. 
    • Demonstrate fast, effective response and follow-up to customer feedback.
    • Able to meet deadlines, follow through on commitments and deliver on promises.
    • Continually strives for continuous growth and improvement.
