  • Overview

    This position has the responsibility for S&OP process, forecasting, reporting/analysis, and continuous improvement in assigned areas. Create and maintain detailed forecasts for products based on historical sales performance as well as input from other functional teams, like sales and marketing. Identify and report variances to the forecast at the detail and aggregate levels. Using standardized problem solving, the successful candidate participates in and leads corrective action teams to assist in continuous improvement initiatives that drive the S&OP and forecasting process to the next level of maturity.




    • Develop and maintain detailed forecast for each assigned SKU by establishing the historical baseline and incorporating demand changes and known forecast events.
    • Interface and Influence with Sales and Marketing to gather anticipated demand changes at the item and category level for promotional activity, gained/lost business, cannibalization, etc.
    • Manage produce life-cycle in the demand plan by incorporating new product launches and phasing out discontinued items.         


    • Manage KPI reporting for:  forecast accuracy, forecast bias, forecast changes and summary.
    • Create reporting for special projects when needed. 



    • Support SKU rationalization projects.
    • Represent S&OP group at cross-functional meetings and anticipate opportunities for change. 
    • Perform other duties as assigned.     
    • 5-10% Domestic Travel if needed.                          


    • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, logistics, finance, or business administration is recommended. 
    • 3+ years of Supply Chain experience or 5+ years without a degree. 
    • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Power-Point, Word, and Access are required.
    • Experience interacting with Sr. Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Sales.
    • Meets deadlines, follows through on commitments and delivers on promises. 
    • Able to take broad thinking around business issues and apply to company strategies. 
    • Strives for continuous growth and improvement. 
    • Self-starter that is resourceful and can work autonomously. 
    • Readily and frequently collaborates with others. 
    • Manages time and territory effectively.
    • Strong Communication skills, written, and verbal collaboration. 
    • Attention to detail necessary to ensure quality work as well as analytical, follow through and organizational skills. 
    • Ability to manage a team as well as multiple, concurrent tasks to meet strict deadlines. 
    • Must have a great communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, to communicate with all levels of employees, suppliers, and customers (internal/external).
    • Willing and able to travel up to 15%.
