    Farmer Brothers has an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst - JD Edwards who will play a key role in providing application analysis and support to business users, focusing primarily on Accounting, Sales, Distribution and Manufacturing processes.  The BA will be responsible to define the best practices for information systems utilization in these areas. The BA will plan, develop, and implement new applications that integrate people, processes and technologies to enable efficient business operations.


    • Primary responsibility for supporting the business process workflow for use with JDE ERP system. This involves supporting Accounting, Human Resources, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Planning, Sales, and Distribution functions.
    • Key resource in cross-functional projects to develop and implement new applications for the business functions mentioned above
    • Analyze user requirements, prepare requirements document, current state and future state processes and identify gaps
    • Experience with understanding business requirements and collaborating in finding technical solutions
    • Proficient in writing requirements document, functional specifications and preparing business process flows 
    • Design processes to meet requirements, prepare functional specifications. Prepare test plans, conduct testing validation, and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
    • Communicate application and project status and vision to stakeholders in a timely manner
    • Ensure delivered IT solutions meet or exceed customer's expectations
    • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of ERP application issues
    • Develop analytical reports and ad-hoc reporting
    • Assist with documenting ERP applications, data integration, and support procedures
    • Ability to apply analysis and creative thinking when solving problems
    • Experience with identifying and implementing process improvements
    • Experience with reporting tools, creating ad-hoc reports, and writing SQL queries
    • Familiar with Software Lifecycle Management (SDLC), Change Management, and agile methodology
    • Perform other duties as needed to support enterprise applications


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or MIS preferred
    • 8+ years professional experience defining requirements and business process workflow configuring enterprise ERP systems
    • 5+ years functional experience configuring enterprise ERP systems. JD Edwards EnterpriseOne preferred
    • Proven problem solving, troubleshooting and interpreting solutions
    • Manufacturing, CPG, Food Service Industry experience preferred
    • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, prioritize requests, and work independently
    • Able to communicate effectively with both business partners and IT professionals
    • Able to effectively collaborate cross-functionally at varying levels in the organization
    • CPG, Food Service, and Manufacturing strongly preferred
