Under general supervision, responsible for conducting moderately complex cost audits and preparing and analyzing cost reports. Works in partnership with cost accounting team to perform cost analysis and reconciliation. Monitors cost control systems and interprets and disseminates cost accounting information to management. This position reports to the Manager of Cost Accounting.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
2-4 years of experience working directly in cost accounting.
Experience working in the Manufacturing industry preferred.
Experience working with Micro-Strategy software a plus.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts, such as profitability and statistical influence, as well as to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical solutions.
5+ years operating Windows and associated Microsoft Office applications, including: MS Word, Power-Point, Access; Excellent Excel skills required.
